Summer

Wow Summer flew by and I can't believe that it is September already. Summer was great I spent many days out in the back yard with the boys and countless hours at our neighborhood park. I also got to go home to Magrath for 2 1/2 weeks which was awesome. We went down for the Magrath celebration ofcourse and then I actually left my children for 5 days... I still can't believe I left them but I did it and the best part is that they survived lol!! According to their dad they didn't even miss me much at all so maybe that means I need to go away more often lol!! I got to spend those five days with my amazing mother, sister Hallie, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Di and my cousin Joey. We went down to Rexburg for education week and it was amazing! While we were gone Kass had a beautiful baby girl Avery. We all knew because we were leaving that she'd have her. And she is such a beautiful baby!! It almost makes me want another one but not quite yet lol!

On my way home from education week I got a very sad phone call from my husband telling me that my little nephew Porter, who is Dexter's age was diagnosed with leukemia. I still can't believe that this has happened to the Olsen Family but they are so amazing. My sister  in-law Chelsey is a rockstar. I seriously look up to her so much and I am just amazed with how brave and amazing she is during this hard time. It definitely makes you think about what matters most in life and that is definitely family. So everyone keep my nephew Porter in your prayers!!

After some sad news we did hear some great news and that's that my sister Ashylla is pregnant!! I am so excited for her and can't wait to meet her little bundle of joy in March!! Only a few more weeks til we get to find out what she's having. I am really hoping it's a boy cause that will increase my chances of having a girl next hopefully lol!! That's my theory anyways...

It seems like Summer has whizzed by and is sadly coming to an end. Dex is already excited for the snow which makes me want to throw up lol!! I don't think he remembers that we are stuck inside a lot when it is cold out so we'll see how much he likes the snow once it's here. I can't believe how fast my boys are growing up. Dex is 3 1/2 and Knox is 1 1/2 time has seriously flown by. I still can't believe Nick and I have two crazy busy little boys.

Speaking of my amazing husband we just celebrated our 5 year anniversary!! I can't believe that it's been 5 years. I am a very lucky girl to have married Nick. He is such an amazing husband and father. I definitely lucked out in the husband department. I love him so much and look forward to spending an eternity together.

I can't believe my sweet little boy is one already!! And no that does not mean it is time for another lol!!

I swear if one more person says that to me I might punch them. Two is plenty for right now. Anyways back to Knox..

Knox is the sweetest little boy. He was the world's best baby and Nick and I feel so blessed to have him in our lives. I think God gave us Knox after Dex so we would have more children lol!! Don't get me wrong we love our Dex man but Knox has been a breeze compared to our wild man.

Knox has such a sweet spirit. He hardly ever gets upset. The only time he cries is when he is hungry or tired with is like most men lol!!

Here are a few things that Knox is doing at One:

Knox and Dex actually play really well together and every day I look forward to hearing the two of them laugh. It is the cutest thing I have ever heard.

Knox is crawling around like a mad man. He has taken a few steps but really could care less about walking because he has figured out crawling is a heck of a lot faster at this point.

Knox is a very early talker which is awesome!! He says quite a few words. Mom, Dad, Dex, Bampah, Mamah, No, Cheese, Shake it, Tickle Tickle, and he is mimicking us all the time. It is so stinking cute!

Knox also loves to dance. Both of my boys do I think this is my fault because I am constantly dancing and singing around the house!

At One Knox is: 25 pounds 14oz and 30.25 inches tall ( 90th percentile for weight and 75th for height)

I love Knox so much and can't believe how fast this year flew by. I feel so blessed to have 3 amazing men in my lives and I wouldn't have it any other way!! Happy Birthday Knoxy Mommy, Daddy and Dexter love you very much!!

So I pretty much have the best husband in the world and today is his birthday!! He is not very happy to be turning 30 but it is what it is and besides he doesn't look a day older than 25!! Anyways since my old man is 30 I decided to write 30 things I love about this guy!!

1) I love you because you work so hard to provide for our family.

2) I love that you are such a good dad!! I just love to watch you with our boys.

3) I love that you are always willing to help others.

4) I love your sweet dance moves!! I think that's where our boys get it from!!

5) I love how intelligent you are. Even though I don't know what you're talking about half of the time.

6) I love how adventurous you are!!

7) I love you because you let me be myself.

8) I love how much fun we have together.

9) I love that you're my best friend.

10) I love that you let me have the remote 90% of the time as long as I let you lie in my lap as I rub your head lol!!

15) I love you for taking care of the boys when I need a break.
