Okay so I know he is 7 weeks already but I promised the
birth story so here it is.
I had been having contractions on and off for about 3
weeks which was awful but what can ya do. Then finally on March 19th at about
9pm I got horrible contractions that started 5 minutes apart. So I finished
packing my bag and Nick took me to the hospital. Once I got there I was
admitted right away. I had to get 4 hours of antibiotics before I could deliver
so I decided to get an epidural. Got my epidural tried to sleep for a bit but I
was way too anxious so I just lied around while Nick slept lol!! Then at about
5:00am my epidural started to wear off which wasn't fun. My doctor came in to
break my water at 6:00am then another doctor came in to top up my epidural. Dr.
Mc Cubbin came back in at 6:50 and 4 pushes later Knox was born at exactly
7:00am. He weighed 9lbs 9 oz and was 21 inches long. Nick and I could not
believe we had another little boy. My pregnancies were so different that we
thought for sure it was going to be a girl but we are so glad to have another
little boy in our family. Mommy is definately out numbered now.
Knox is such a good baby !! he has been sleeping atleast
5 hour stretches since he got home from the hospital and is just the most
content little boy. Dexter loves his little brother and smothers him all the
time. It is a full time job just trying to keep Dex off of him but we have
adjusted and things are great.
I still can't believe I am a mother of two!! There is
nothing I love more in life than being a mother!! I love both of my little boys
so much!! I am going to be one busy momma for the next few years but I am
looking forward to it!!
Knox just a few seconds old!!
